In our economy, the poorest and most vulnerable are the most victimized by housing insecurity, toxic pollution, taxation, incarceration, food and flood insecurity. The powerful interests that write our laws and control their enforcement aren’t capable of overseeing a just recovery effort; oversight should be in the hands of the communities most affected. Food Not Bombs calls for a people-over-profit response and a caring, sustainable future for all Houstonians.
